From the superbly-appointed Gîte de Belouve, high above the stunning town of Hell Bourg, a truly delightful walk through the Forêt de Belouve (just think Jurassic Park!) takes you to the awesome chasm and plunging waterfalls of the Trou de Fer ("Iron Hole"). It's a favourite of seasoned canyoneers, but not one for beginners to the sport! |
